I AM MY BELOVEDS...AND MY BELOVED IS MINE

Lord, everyday, even before I open my eyes to face another day...
I hear the echo of yesterdays psalms of You
the longings of my heart for you...wanting your very words
to hold out for those who press for a way out of this worlds darkness.
Come and touch my life again
this morning,  this new day
this moment, that I might serve you
in proclaiming Your Love
and the Gift of Life that can be found
Only in You
Only in You Lord
You'll make a Way,  Where there seems to be none
Only in You Lord
Can the answers to our questions and struggles with this life be found 
You are the answer and The Truth that will set us free.
Only in You Lord
Can the Life,  the abundant life be found
full of ALL those things that our heart desires
Not "the things of earth, that grow strangely dim
in the light of Your Glory and Grace."
But all those things that bring true peace, joy
and fulfilment to our lives.
This world, and this life cannot promise me
a life that will lead me beyond myself, my fears,
my sorrows, my failures, my regrets...
all is bondage and vain. 
Only in You Lord
Come and touch my life again
